Take the sitting area as design inspiration. This little nook features warm wooden windows and a table, with textile furnishings in white, black, and gray. The white sofa and rounded coffee table make the room a bit more homey, while a mirror and piece of art balance the room and provide symmetry.
An open space area with wooden beams, brick walls, and meticulous wooden floors displays an original structural fabric illuminated by natural light. Modular furnishings perfectly divide the space, and a short staircase off from the living room area is a perfect dais for lounging around and informal entertainment. A large cubicle on the first floor looking out over the dining area is great for a study and for reading.
Make the front door white and add mirrors to the length of any narrow hallway to add the appearance of more space! Overall, the gray tones really help pull everything together but also allow for greater emphasis of the colors that are added, such as lush green indoor plants or a paler white marble bust. It also makes any features in shining black or chrome, such as the sink, stand out and look really nice.
Within the lounge of the apartment, the grey sofa offers a subdued pop of color that ties the décor together rather nicely. Additionally, the over lapping rugs paired with the ceiling length curtains open the space providing a fresh feeling atmosphere. The plants are used as accents in a manner that also lends to a fresh and open aesthetic.
