One of the most outstanding features of pastel colors is the ability to blend well with natural materials like wood floors and wood paneling. You can use light colored woods like bamboo, white oak or light maple to compliment any pastel décor. If you like contrast in your décor, you can try cherry wood which looks great with peach and pink colors.
Pick a color already in the room and give both tables the same hue for a cohesive look.If you have tables that are wildly different in style and shape, and you want to keep their uniqueness, you could add unity with the same table lamp (or other accessory) on each table. Use lampshades that steal the show.
Colors don’t always have to match. If your bedroom is minimalistic and Scandinavian, two different sized square tables in muted, natural colors will go well together. You can even use color to add personality to the tables. Have storage units double as classy nightstands. Have differently colored drawers in the same table. If you can, let the lowermost drawer have a similar finish to your flooring.
And then take care to find a single component that will add the perfect amount of sparkle and shine to the bedroom. That could also be accomplished with a fancy sparkling chandelier, a mirrored table lamp, or a gold leaf covered vase set on a table in the room. When the light hits its surface it will inevitably cause a pleasing shadow on any surface that it casts shadows over.
